My newest!

New postby rinse on Sat 17 Mar 2007 16:32

Hey everybody, just thought i would post a pic of my newest knife, It is made for me by James McGowan, Just got it a hour ago. it feels beautiful. and performs like whoa! it is stainless. flat grind, Box elder burl handle. James also designed the MAK-1, quite a amazing tool, I got in contact with him through my father-in-law who is a fire captain, told me that James was a great knife maker. and he really, really is! hope you all like a classic take on the bushcraft knife, I know i do.

In addition to the knives made for me by friends, this is one of my favorites. Jukka Hankala, curly birch, ATS-34 stainless, 78mm, Lastu.

Howdy folks-

This is my Tora bushcraft blade, which I got not too long ago. It's really proven to be a great woods knife and I always have it on me now when out and about.

Where did you get that ceramic rod for your keychain Spooky?

I think I might have to acquire one of those.

Hi LD!

It's a Lansky. Pretty darn handy to have around, good size and sharpens well.

I got mine here:
http://www.campingsurvival.com/lamidogbokns.html

I also just found them at ragweed forge for cheaper. They would only lack the rubber tips (they can be removed anyway).

Take care-

i'm sorry to answer so late,i had some problems for logging in.
the poul strande blade knife has a oak handle , thuya, pine and oak rivets seath.
the leather is wrapped around the blue string you can see and riveted, the belt loop is also with rivets.
